Born in Rhode Island, I grew up in western Coventry where the cows and dirt roads roam! I went to Coventry High School and discovered my interest in becoming a teacher. I studied Math Education at Rhode Island College and began teaching at Cranston High School East in August of 2008. I love being in the classroom every single day - I couldn't do anything else! Mathematics is such an interesting subject (may I say, language?) that is more than just textbook Algebra and Geometry.

I have many hobbies and interests:
- Board Games (really geeky ones like Settlers of Catan, Dominion, and Carcassonne to name a few)
- Card Games ( Poker and Hearts are my favorites)
- Beach Games (ladder ball, can jam, volleyball)
- Traveling (Want to visitCalifornia, Lake Tahoe, Colorado, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Lodon - ahhhh, too many to list!)
- Outdoors (Skiing, hiking, camping, skiing, beach, skiing)
- Music & Concerts (blink 182 is my favorite band and I enjoy everything from pop to country to classical to house music)
- ...and most importantly, the BEST friends and family the world could ask for!
